Semi-finished products from polypropylene (PP)

ER&GE offers an extraordinary range of combinations of technical properties, surface structures and colours: PP as homopolymer, block copolymer and random copolymer, elastomers (TPO/TPE), double and triple-layered co-extrusion compounds (AB, BA and ABA) from different blends of raw materials and with different colourings, bi and trilaminates with textile substrates, and others.

PP-H

PP-H is a homopolymer polypropylene with good mechanical properties, especially at higher temperatures. It is also highly resistant to chemicals and corrosion. PP-H is physiologically harmless and is suitable for use in the food industry. It is also typically used in the manufacture of chemical apparatus and tanks.

PP-C

PP-C is a block copolymer polypropylene with high impact strength, even at low temperatures. Standard PP-C is slightly less rigid than PP-H, while its other properties are identical to PP-H. PP-C is suitable for a wide variety of applications.

PP-RC

PP-RC is a highly transparent statistical copolymer polypropylene. It has similar mechanical and thermal properties to PP-C, but its impact strength at low temperatures is more like that of PP-H. PP-RC is well suited to consumer oriented areas of application where transparency is an important feature.

Semi-finished products from polyethylene (PE)

ER&GE sheets offer an extraordinarily versatile range of technical properties, surface structures and colours: PE-HD (PE 300), PE-LD and PE-MD, double and triple-layer co-extrusion compounds (AB, BA und ABA) from different blends of raw material in a variety of colours.

PE-HD

PE-HD is a high density polyethylene with good mechanical properties, especially at low temperatures. It is highly resistant to chemicals and is physiologically harmless. With its variety of material and processing properties, PE-HD is perfect for a wide array of uses, ranging from the manufacture of moulded parts to making chemical apparatus and tanks.

PE-LD

PE-LD is a low-density polyethylene. It is a ductile, soft material with high thermal stability at low temperatures, but becoming less stable at higher temperatures. It is physiologically harmless and is suitable for many different sorts of processing, in particular the manufacture of moulded parts.

PE-MD

PE-MD is a medium density polyethylene with properties somewhere between those of PE-HD and PE-LD. This material is likewise especially suitable for the manufacture of moulded parts.
